Mel 'n' Omi's Great, Central European Adventure
Krakow :: Cloth Hall Thursday 29 July   Back

In the center of Krakow's market square sits the Cloth Hall. It's approximately eight hundred years old, and the traditional trade site in Krakow.

Now it's mainly for tourists, and you don't have to "settle" for hand-made cloth there, either. Everything from sheep skins to smoking pipes is available.

This is the tourist trap of the century! Beautiful amber, sheepskins, jewelry, dolls, you name it! We kept our hands in our pockets so we wouldn't be tempted to purchase the very over-priced items.
